Getting hobby quantity of SMD capacitors can be a little challenging at a reasonable price. Starting at a volume of 10 in cut-tape form, you can now get those tiny SMD capacitors for your project. This is the 100nF or 0.1uF Capacitor or Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) in a 0805 (2012 metric) package.
Use these as decoupling capacitors between the power rails and digital IC's.
